Akane is a brilliant swords woman who also happens to be the daughter of a noble man. She at one point was supposed to be a possible suitor for Hikaru, but she is the type of girl who makes her own destiny. Instead of being married off to a nobleman, she chose to become an advisor for the young prince. Her personality is more serious, and she can be very cold/stern. She is like family to Hikaru and Kyouya.
