TotokoTan for Kanbaru Suruga
<Removed>
So, this is to cover all four of your auditions. It's funny, when I first heard your Senjougahara audition, I though, "Gee, I think she'd make a better Hachikuji" I definitely think that part was more akin to your vocal style. That's why I was surprised by how well this part came out. For feedback, try to enunciate "Araragi". Right now, I'm getting "Aragi". You're heading in the right direction with your tone. It is a conversational piece, and it's nearly there. Definitely read over the lines once or twice more, THEN give them a shot. The thing with conversation is that people very rarely suddenly stop. They tend to go "ummm..." or "errr..." or kinda drag out words. For this reason, reading mistakes are easy to spot. If you want to send any retakes, feel free to email me at [email protected]. I'd say you should focus on Hachikuji and Kanbaru; both are good. Also, I was curious, what microphone do you have?
Ahh, thanks for the constructive critique! I'll focus on Hachikuji and Kanbaru, def. I've got a Blue Yeti microphone.
Excellent. It definitely sounds like a Yeti. I used to have one of those, myself. That mic, for me, was a difficult one. I tended to turn the gain down really low then get extremely intimate with the mic, like maybe 2 inches from my mouth. It works well, but it needs a pop filter. Also, it can pick up a lot of mouth-noise if you're not careful. I can tell the mic is quality, but take a look on how to maximize its capabilities.
