Obi is a trouble maker. He was originally someone who was supposed to run Haru off, and make her no longer want to hang around the prince. However, after he met Prince Hikaru, the prince decided to give him a chance to prove his loyalty to him and become part of his team. Obi has a good heart and never had any ill will towards Haru or the prince, so he decides to do all he can to prove his loyalty and earn himself a place as someone to serve the royal family. Eventually, he grows close with everyone and is given the title of Prince Hikaru's messenger, but in secret he is really meant to be someone who can protect Haru when the prince cannot be around. This character is very complex, and needs someone who can portray all the emotions that he feels. He spends a lot of time with Haru.
