Looking for a natural/generic voice, so just shoot your shot with a calm and normal voice. They're really meant to be more reluctant of his job, but sadistic in the fact that he does it mindlessly anyway. They can get angry/emotional still but their casual speaking voice is... shockingly, casual. So don't try and make them too one-track/monotone. They're a person.
