“What’s wrong?” Sunburst asked. “Are the banners okay? I just sort of took an educated guess and went for dark red. I mean, Cranberry Day, right? So probably we should do something with cranberries.”
“Welcome to Princess Twilight Sparkle’s School of Friendship,” Sunburst said. “I’m sorry she was unable to greet you herself.”
[following an awkward pause]
“How about we go to the ballroom?” Sunburst suggested. “We’ve got food, a live band, and cider!”
Not bad, but I'm afraid another actor squeaked by a little better. That said, I like the tone and emotion you put into the lines, although you didn't need to read the narration itself. One thing I feel I should mention, there's no need to rush through the lines {it's something I've noticed a lot of people do, in fact}, but pace yourself a bit slower - it helps add various pitch and pacing changes to express the character better.
