I listened to the audition and while the voice was slightly monotone, it was good. Thanks for that. However, the biggest problem you have is how quiet it is and that you somehow only recorded the left side of your audio or panned to the left. Even with my headphones on at 100 percent volume, I could barely hear you. I had to edit it to actually hear the lines. While it can be worked on to fix the problems, there might be a chance down the line that your auditions will be critiqued because of them. Although it isn't too hard for you to fix it.

    Thanks for the tips man! I'm very new at this and it's a new mic so I'm still working it out. Definitely something I'll be working on!

Leon Redbeard is a small foxman bounty hunter. I imagine he is about 30 year old so I think he should sound like that. For some reason I picture him with an Australian accent. If you can't do one, that's fine, just try to find the right voice to fit the character. 


His scenes int he video come up at 14:50 and 19:20. PLEASE watch the video so that you have a better chance of voicing the lines correctly. There is also two small fight scenes between him and an elf so there will be some fight walla that needs to be done. 


You can do different takes for the lines if you think that will help. I don't mind listening to takes.

The sides they read from:

  • (After overhearing why there are so many people waiting in line for food. He sounds slightly somber) They're farmers... the elves took their land and left them with nothing. Now they are forced to beg for the same food they used to harvest.

  • (Said kinda matter-of-factly) You are being hunted.  By the elves. I offer my services as a bodyguard.

  • (After something bad happened and the group needs to move on) Look...you are going to need my help. Whether you like it or not.
