She's extremely violent, but can keep it under wraps until she--inevitably-- explodes in a fit of rage.
Her voice should be smooth (perhaps a little flat?) and a little lower, the kind of voice you'd expect a secretary to have!
[Secretary voice]"Mr. Whalen's office, Miss Cauldwell speaking. One moment, please hold."
[Shocked/Numb]"I've opened my eyes for a third time, but the image stays the same. They're dead, all dead. It doesn't change; they don't move. Not like the people outside. They're very active, but my co-workers are very much dead. I'm glad I didn't go with them. A chance to escape from it all is exactly what I needed, but why this way? "
