For her vocals, she's going to have that soft toned typical geeky voice. Pretend you're being a "goody two shoes" and you've just used your fingertip to raise your glasses higherup your nose bridge. At the same time we want that type of satisfying voice, soft yet geeky in a way. 

For the second line she's worried, she's trying to save a dear friend but at the same time has a good chance of not being able to. She's panicked, scared.
