Saru is arguably the main character of the series. The story begins with him, and follows his adventures.

His voice should sound quite soft, deadpan and calm, however you should be able to sound very angry and confused when necessary.

Saru has spent his entire life trapped inside Majkaen Forest, being trained to become a Paladin, however he doesn't want that for himself. He longs to leave the forest, and is frustrated when even his twin brother, Rycan, believes more in the ways of the Paladins than in him.

He also harbors a dangerous power, based on his anger. This power is uncontrollable.
