Megan is the main character in the story, she goes through a series of events throughout the movie. When Megan was very young her father died of Ischemic heart disease and a few years later her mother killed herself leaving Megan and her little sister alone. Megan is only 15 so legally she cannot live alone, forcing her and her sister to go into foster care, Luckily their foster home is in the same town(So they go to the same school). She falls in love with her childhood friend (he likes her back) but fate won't allow the two to be together. Like for example when the boy finally decides he will confess his feelings to her she tells him she found someone she's interested in.
