He was born in Venus, Florida, with a deformity in both hands, giving him only 8 fingers in total. To make things worse, when he was 7 he was in a minor house fire and burnt both of his hands. His mother was an alcoholic and he despised the fact that she was. He has since then sworn to never drink alcohol. His dad was never really there for him during his childhood and teen years. He provided a bit of a toxic relationship, saying things like, "Men don't cry." His dad left when Orlando turned 17. Orlando’s mother is still alive, but suffering from dementia.
