Hey I'm looking for a voice actor who might be interested in voicing a YouTube channel. It's probably a very different proposal than ones you're used to so I'll try to explain as best I can. Basically it's reading out short fictional stories similar to audiobooks I guess.

EDIT: Will be looking for multiple voice actors for different channels - same premise but just spread out. So 1 voice actor for channel A and another voice actor for channel B (basically will be accepting more than one person).

I am going to be creating a huge backlog of stories to be read out so you can read a lot at once or spread them out over a time. I would provide the scripts and I have editors to cover the visuals so all you would be doing is producing the audio. The videos just need to be 10 minutes or over so just an audio file of that long.

The rates are gonna be very different to what you're used to I'm sure but it is a guaranteed lot of work. Currently it would be a pay per audio file of $7.5 - So $225 for 30 of those for the month - hopefully every month.

If that's something you might be interested in could you send me an example of your recording? I added a story below which you could test out which contains some narration and some character speech to test different styles. Don't have to read it all just enough so I can see your style.

I’d died.

I was sure of it. The truck had hit me head on, and that had been it. The darkest blackness followed by the brightest white.

And then I’d woken up here.

Where ever here was.

The buildings were like nothing I’d ever seen before. I was pretty sure that a good third of them were living trees with buildings inside of them. Then there were the stone monstrosities. Not castles per say, but more like above ground caves. Or inside out? I’m not sure. I’d not been inside one yet - humans weren’t allowed.

That was the kicker, the real I’m not in Kansas anymore moment. Elves, orcs, dwarves, dragons, you name it from fantasy and it’s here.

And the Elves ruled it all.

...

“You there!” an orcish guard said, pointing at me, and gesturing me over. It was early in the morning, and I’d been just about to line up for breakfast.

Taken aback, I looked over my shoulder, as if there might be someone standing there behind me. But I’d been the last one to leave our bunk area and was most definitely the one he was talking to.

“Yes, Sir?” I asked politely. I’d seen guards like him beat others when they weren’t respectful enough.

“You’re due for your job assignment today. Follow me.” He glared at me, as if daring me not to follow him.

My stomach grumbled once, as the smell of fried eggs and whatever that tuber like vegetable was, they fed us, floated passed. But I didn’t stop to look back. I was hungry, not stupid.

We're looking for a soothing but confident voice, similar to one you would associate with story reading on Audible.

Accent doesn't matter as long as it fits the above ^^

Let me know if I've missed anything out or just any questions you've got. Thanks.
