Voice idea: Nightscream from Beast Machines. Just hit puberty, voice is still changing, he's trying to sound tough but can't go that deep.
His alte mode is based on a Nightstalker, an eyeless, backwards future bat that walks on its hands (formerly wings) and uses its feet to grab prey, from Dougal Dixon's 'After Man'.
