Knuckles is a fifteen year old echidna who lives on the Floating Island, guarding the Master Emerald. Because Dr. Robotnik tricked him into believing Sonic and Tails were going to steal the Master Emerald, Knuckles puts his wits to work setting up traps for the two. However, he eventually realizes he was tricked and helps Sonic defeat Robotnik.

Knuckles should have his voice from Sonic Underground. He's cocky and speaks in a sarcastic tone for most of his first appearance.
