April is a bright young woman who's landed a job as a close consultant and speech writer for a senior politician. She is energetic and ready to give her best, but can be quite cynical. She's working for the politician because it's a good job, not because she believes in everything he stands for.
April is a major recurring character who will appear in most, if not all episodes of the series. If you audition there is an expectation you are able to commit to this.
