Hi WoodyG! Thank you for the audition. I enjoyed both takes, but I wonder if I may steer you in a slightly different direction. ---- The concept of a "boss" in America and Japan are quite different. What I'd like you to consider is a "quiet authority". The people you're chiding did mess up and you've called them into your office to reprimand them. Your instinct is correct here, but the delivery needs a slight adjustment. Pull it back much more, and reprimand them from a place of higher authority. You know they messed up, they know they messed up. The scolding is more of a procedure where all parties acknowledge the error. I hope this makes sense.
