A man of steel (don't tell the ladies). This is an important role with emotion and yelling. You have to be up to the challenge and be willing to work for it.

Please don't go half way with these lines. They are meant to test your emotional range and ability to be loud without your microphone popping.

  • I can't see her! I CAN'T see Lois! (Pause) Please...Batman...help me find her...

  • (Doomsday appears, a threat to Lois) Stay away from them! Rahhhh! (superman flies into Doomsday)

  • (Press Confressence to the World) I am sorry. We failed you. My name- my Earth name... Is Clark Kent. What happened yesterday can never be allowed to happen again. Monsters can no longer roam free among us. I don't care about your lands or your beliefs. I don't care about your petty squabbles. I am calling for an immediate world-wide ceasefire. All hostilites will stop immediately or I WILL stop them... Its over.

Most VAs don't ask about the version when it comes to comic book characters, so I do like the fact you decided to bring that up immediate. I'm not hosting the recasting project on my page, so it's under Noah's page. I'll ask him to update the information to this CCC page. Your Superman voice wasn't bad, it gave that classic feel(Radio Drama feel) to it, but I don't think it's what I'm looking for. I'm looking for someone who can get somewhat close to the original voice actor that did the part in the video provided above.

I'm just getting old, I'm afraid. I grew up on "this is a job FOR SUPERMAN" and it's been like a part of me ever since. I'm better at the older voice for that reason--I'm actually so jaded that I prefer the "classic" voice (the guy in the video was NOT original--he reminded me of Mark Harmmon (Gibbs in "NCIS," also voiced the Big Guy in a couple of cartoon movies)). It's good to meet someone else who knows a little bit about the history of the part, though. Good to hear from you.
