Oh boy, where do I start? Fervis is a former slave and a training field medic. He rarely ever speaks unless spoken to first, and you can only get to know him by speaking with him. He doesn’t seem to care about himself too much, as he often forgets simple things like eating, worrying over other people. If you leave him alone for long enough, he’ll start doing random menial tasks or something to keep himself busy. “It’s just habit.”, he claims. He’s also ridiculously hard to separate from Maven, as they will follow each other everywhere, and the other party members rarely find them apart. Him and Maven were found injured in a strange tunnel by the rest of the party, and have been traveling with them ever since, with no explanation as to where they came from. Fervis answers to almost anything he’s asked, but when asked questions about that he only responds with the same vague sentences. Because he is quiet most of the time, others often feel unthreatened and don’t watch what they say around him, as a result he knows a lot about the people around him.

He’s a humanoid fire elemental, and often faces discrimination as sometimes innkeepers or townmasters don’t understand his race. No, he doesn’t burn everything he touches. Yes, you can touch him and he will not burn you. Yes, he has feelings. Fervis gives off a comforting heat at all times, and as a living light source it is quite difficult for him to go around unnoticed. He doesn’t seem to mind though, everyone apparently wants to sleep in the same tent as him, especially on cold nights.

Second edit: (Because my coworker demanded it) Fervis doesn’t technically have a last name, legally he’s still considered property, but the closest to his last name would have to be “Monstrum”. For more reasons than one, but I guess I can explain that later.
