Joanna Conway, Sherman's wife and faithful friend. Like her husband, she has spent much of her life in the forest outside Keva. When the two were much younger, they lived simple lives in Keva. Upon their exile from the city, they turned to the ancient Followers of Mithawai, The Damned for community. They now lead followers of the religion. Though, as time went on, Sherman grew untrustworthy of the cause and teachings. Joanna shares the same sentiment as Sherman, though her beliefs are not yet extinguished.
Joanna is much different than her stern husband. She is warm and inviting, she seems the most lively of any of Keva's Fallen. A different change for Gwinnett. Joanna takes a keen interest in the arrival of Gwinnett. Joanna longs to be back home in Keva.
Joanna is in her late 20s. Her maturity is palpable, as she has been independent alongside Keva's Fallen.

Sherman, goddamnit, why are you so cynical! She's just like any other lost friend. Why can't you see that?(Jokingly referring to Sherman) You know...she's a lot like someone I fell in love with. He too was lost and confused. (giggle)
(yearning for the past) Keva, (pronounced Key - vuh) was beautiful, much like how it looks from up here. I wish they could see, though. If only they understood what the texts forsee. I suppose that's where you come in, Gwinnett.
