Ames is a Naga (obviously) that Navarone helped saved during a situation involving the pie family. He eventually comes to a house that Navarone gets from a certain queen and helps him fight like general warrior with a sword just in case a situation came about that he couldn't solve with his brain. At that point in the story, Navarone has been in more then a few situations that would have been much better for him if he knew how to fight with the sword he has.
The Naga are a very Honorable race and also heavily conservative, but the Naga still befriend Navarone because of all the help he gives to the Naga. Ames Isn't old, but hes still older then most of the cast. I like to think he has a deep but chivalrous voice and sounds like a 30ish year old Male.
