Yi Suchong: A poor Korean house servant during the Japanese occupation in World War II, Suchong sold opium to the Japanese to fund his medical experiences and to keep himself safe from abuse, death, and poverty. After the war he was going to be tried for for collaboration with the enemy but mysteriously disappeared. When he showed up in Rapture, he opened an independent research firm and developed Plasmids that helped and destroyed the citizens of Rapture. He is OPPORTUNISTIC, CUNNING, AND UNMOVED by human emotion.
