Post story biography:

David was born in Fortworth Texas on December 12th, 1944.

He was a star football player in high school and married his high school sweetheart, a cheerleader named Ann after she accidentally conceived his child early in their relationship. He and his son, Max, also known as Maxamillian or just Millian have a close relationship, brought together by the church and by being his rock when Ann wouldn't care to raise the fawn. The man was drafted for war, and while overseas, his wife became pregnant. Learning this on a visit home, it was clear their relationship had ended. While the man went back overseas to finish his job, his wife moved away with her new lover without his knowledge. Once the war was over he came home to nothing and lost all contact with his wife and child.

  • (Confused)

-Why I just saw that boy. He seemed to be alright, happy even. What on earth do you mean? By devil's hand, whats max been doin?

    (Disapproving)

-Ah, so you know why I'm back

-You know I was proud of you. But now I don't know what to think.

-I don't drop out of work for nuthin'. Shut down the shop... You're costing me some major dollars but that's cause I still love you despite how awful of a being you've made yourself to be.

  • (Stern)

-You better watch that mouth, boy

-That's it, huh? Just forsaking your own father?

  • (Apologetic)

-I can't agree more... I'm sorry... For... For choosing the line of work I did... I could have been there for you... raised you... I've missed so much

    (Casual)

-I'm mighty proud of you, son... I'm sorry I came in the way I did.  Goes to show maybe a man should scope out the scene before trusting random phone calls.
