John is a 17 year old senior, best friends with Anna, and hopelessly in love with her. He adores comic books (specifically Iron Man), and is genuinely an easy going, funny, well rounded guy - a sensitive painter type, he's applied to art school in hopes of pursing a life in painting. He's intelligent but mostly soft spoken, and therefore is mercilessly picked on by Nick and his group, and seen as weak by them due to his kind nature. He is quite thrilled about the beginning of the apocalypse, because ZOMBIES, RIGHT? Despite often being fearful and disbelieving, he is brave when necessary and steps up to the plate to protect the people he loves.
Please note that while Scottish is the desired accent, ANY UK accent will be acceptable.

Santa might die! Do you reckon it was the Easter Bunny? I hear he's a jealous sod.
