Pete is the Uncle of Mick and the adoptive father of Luke. He and his family were from vault 62, and afterwards traveled the wasteland for an odd amount of years. Eventually, they settled in an old trailer park and attempted to start a community. Only, that didn't work out, and Pete eventually became a hermit when most of his family died around him. The only family he has left is his nephew Mickey and his adopted son Luke. Being relatively older than his group, appears to be much wiser and more perceptive of things than the others. He also seems very capable of reading people, making a judgement call about the true nature of the courier wanting to help.
Pete has many endings, one of which he gets captured by raiders and the player will have to mercy kill him, because they took his legs.
You want to hear somethin' funny? I've been thinking, and I don't want to die. Never thought I'd be the kinda idiot to say somethin' like that, but there it is. I'm scared. Don't you ... don't you dare tell Mick that okay? Don't you tell him, what you had to do.
I love that stupid kid. No matter what you think, he is a good boy. He's been playin' a tough hand, but he is a good boy.
I made a real judgement call when I met you. Most folk around here might have shot first, but you luckily came at just the right time. I think I made the right choice.
