Alvis is the "Divine Seer" for the High Entia, and a personal aquaintance with Emperor Sorean Antiqua. He is very knowledgeable about many topics, including the Monado. He often helps Shulk on his adventures, but his reason  is unknown (unless you've beaten the game). As usual, as close as possible to the English dub.
