Klaus is the mayor of the Rolent region of Liberl, getting elected to the position thanks to his honesty and his friendly relationships with his fellow townsfolk. Though he could use his position of power to spend lavishly, Klaus enjoys his more modest lifestyle complete with fishing trips and tending to his garden. Because of the trust the people of Rolent placed in him by electing them mayor and because of his close relationships with the small city's people, Klaus feels an intense obligation to look out for their wellbeing.
For Klaus' voice, I'm looking for something in the deep/medium-low range that sounds elderly and with a touch of gruffness.

I had something to speak with Father Divine about, so I was over at the chapel and... When I came home, it was rather odd for no one to greet me at the door, so I looked around and the rooms were in a state of great disarray. (rushed, nervous)
