Voice Type A (pictured) - Energetic, Youthful, High-Energy, Flirtatious - A tone and pitch to match the character and her design is also important. Ability to vary delivery depending on the situation and context. Stringing together and extending the delivery of certain words could give a powerful effect. Example delivery of “meeeeeean” instead of “mean”.

Voice Type B (not pictured) - This voice functions as a different character from Lyca (imagine split personality) in performance, while still having an identifiable pitch from Lyca voice type A. Qualities of this voice include:

  • Totally more subdued. Where Lyca A is “giddy” and “upbeat” Lyca B is “passive” and “reserved”, borderline cold.

  • Coming off as “nice” but as an act, and totally neutral (example being in the unwanted presence of a stranger and outwardly appearing calm, yet inwardly wishing they would go away).

  • Distant and Secluded

  • Sometimes outright cold and dismissive

  • She comes off almost robotic and emotionless in delivery.

  • The exception is when she is speaking internally, where she wears her emotions on her sleeve. Quotes denoted as being delivered internally expect a different delivery, close to Lyca A’s enthusiasm, but bitter and “battle-hardened”.

  • Putting on a fake smile and pretending everything is ok wears her out, but in order to maintain public appearances, she puts forth some effort not to be totally rude. Internally, she struggled to maintain composure.

  • LYCA A VERSION 3 LINES: SEE REFERENCE LINK ABOVE

Pouty “Being your assistant is soo boring sometimes... *whimper*.”

  • Inquisitorial/Extremely Interested - “What's your favorite personality in a girl, Ray-Ray? Something that attracts you…”

Shocked/Worried - “R-Ray… Do you know what you are saying? Those types of girls eat guys like you for breakfast. You are way too wimpy and soft to deal with them! I would stay far, far away! “

  • LYCA B VERSION 3 LINES: SEE REFERENCE LINK ABOVE

(Thinly veiled disinterest/Forced Smile) “Oh. Look at the time. I really should get to class. It was a pleasure meeting you, though.”

(Internal  Rant) "What the hell!? You idiot! Watch where you are going!"

(Internal  Rant) "Am I seriously being hit on again? Can't this nerd get a clue!?"

I'm not the project owner but here's what I have for constructive criticism. Line 1 - The pouty is good but the whimper is more like a whine. Could be a fault in wording with the script. Line 2 - You don't sound inquistive or energetic enough and probably mixed up the line for a Voice Type B line when it's still meant to be A. You really sound lazy in the line. Line 3 - You sound way too laid back and don't have enough energy going through the line. Line 4 - The first half sound like you were nailing the disinterested tone but as you end the line, it sounds more pissed and is easy to identify rather than being more of a subtle annoyance. Line 5 - This is rather monotone and the director did state the robotic tone used for the B Voice Type but it just felt too rhythmic and not natural. Line 6 - Again, there's an odd rhythm to your delivery which makes it off as unnatural despite how annoyed you make it sound. Hope this helps!
