A character from The Dichotomy series. Pending is the college student with no alternative work in his field. He works for the bank because no one else who hire an “overqualified graduate with no work experience.” He’s a philosophy major who somewhat hates everything now that his crushing student loan debt and lack of real work keeps him working double 12 hour shifts every day with Crisp. He has a very flat voice, is incredibly sarcastic, and might suffer from depression.

Ah, geez, there he goes again making a hoopla about everything. I can’t wait to pay off my student loans so I don’t have to work for this guy anymore. What a waste of my philosophy degree.
