Jabba the Hutt's Twi'Lek Majordomo is almost as twisted as his Master.  Try to match his voice heard in Star Wars Episode IV: Return of the Jedi.

  • Ah! Our guest is here! It isn't often that the sands of this unworthy world are blessed by the shadow of a Jedi Knight! I am Bib Fortuna, majordomo to Jabba Desiljic Tuire, also called Jabba the Hutt! The great Jabba has granted you an Audience. I'll take you right up. Do you speak Huttese?

  • May I introduce the venerable Jabba - honest businessman, concerned citizen, benevolent Host! Master, your visitor has arrived - Ki-Adi Mundi, Knight of the Order of Jedi, Member of the Jedi Council, watcher of the Cerean Quadrant and servant of the Galactic Republic.

  • (Laughs evily)

Well, someone knows the lore! I didn't think of giving him the french accent but it makes perfect sense for him to have one as we never hear him speak basic in the movies, but since the Twi'Leks in TCW have it so should he! The voice itself is also very creepy and suits him well! Colour me impressed, my friend!

Using both this translator and the source clip of Bib Fortuna listed above for inspiration, do you think you could believably deliver some of your lines in Huttese? https://lingojam.com/HutteseForDummies

I'll give it a try. However, judging by the results of the translator, the translations need some work in the final product (some words don't have a Huttese equivalent, for instance). For the Huttese audition, do you want me to try all two spoken lines or just the line Bib's communicating to Jabba (the first line and the first half of the second line would obviously be in a Basic in the finished product)? If you need some additional tips, you can use this language guide to make translation judgments (or take artistic liberties as necessary). http://www.completewermosguide.com/huttdictionary.html
