TheStoryPainter for Jeremy Alderidge
Jeremy Alderidge is one of the main characters of the story. He is the leader of Black Coats Limited in which is the organisation Reikanara and Asher get sold off to. Jeremy is quite a troubling character throughout the series and is quite psychotic. He enjoys injuring and killing people and will do it any chance he gets, however, Phoenix Alderidge is there 24/7 to assure that Jeremy doesn't go off the rails and hurt people at the establishment. Not only is he psychotic but he also has an extremely short temper which many people struggle to accept when he is around. The only person it seems he wouldn't cause pain to is Phoenix. No one really understands why but it gives him an advantage over Jeremy and therefore makes it easier to control him.
VOICE: Psychotic, middle to high range, middle-aged, evil.

[irritated, warning] Depends on how much you comply. If you do as your told and be a tame little birdie we won't have any problems, but if you try to fly away and cause us issues. We'll clip your wings.
[Angry, threatening] Okay, look. I'd suggest you listen to me very, very clearly. If you don't come with me right now, instead of hurting you I'll go after your sister and cut open every artery in her little petite body until she's lying on the ground with no pulse at all.

[Psychotic] And what makes you so convinced I wouldn't huh? I personally enjoy the feeling of piercing someone's veins and watching their soul slowly wither away as I hold them in my grasp. So what makes you think you're so special?
This is extremely close to what I am looking for in regards to this character, the only thing I would say as improvement is thatJeremy can be normal sometimes, he switches from psychotic to normal frequently and he doesn’t stay consistent with it so in the first line he is more normal whereas the other two are not. Whoa dude, you can really change your voice. Most of the stuff I do will be an extension of my voice not a complete change. Did you take classes or anything?
No not really. It's just a talent I've had for a while now. I want to take some classes to improve however.
After a lot of thought, I think you would be good for the role...however, I would like you to redo the first line with a more angered tone rather than a psychotic tone. Jeremy can act normal sometimes, and not have a psychotic voice but still be quite angered/irritated but he’s more ‘normal’ Per say. Like I believe there should be some contrast as having that brilliant voice in some scenes would not work and would sound choppy. I don’t want him to be completely normal. I do want his psychotic tone underlined in some of the lines but I still want him to have a ‘normal’ voice and a ‘psychotic’ voice as I want that contrast and don’t want him to have a psychotic voice throughout. If you could also do these two lines in your retake where Jeremy is just speaking normally that would be great as I can gauge your understanding of what I mean. JEREMY: You have your first afternoon class in a couple of hours. FROM A DIFFERENT LINE: JEREMY: (stating) Someone will come to collect you when you have your first class this afternoon, so I would get changed and sort yourself out if I were you.
