Olfie is Kirana(Ran)'s best friend since early childhood. He's been the only person close to her since her parents passed away. He distances himself from her in a misguided attempt to get Ran to make more friends, but it ultimately backfires and leaves their relationship damaged. Olfie later realizes his romantic feelings for Ran, but feels so distant from her because of Eggy showing up and taking all of her attention. Oflie is a complex character. He's very wary of Eggy. He's a brilliant student but he sucks at properly expressing his emotions. Quite a confusing lad.
(Olfie responding to Ran's confrontation in the school hallway. Olfie is pretending to not like Ran as a friend anymore because he wants her to branch out and make more friends for her health.)
LINE: "Ran, what are you talking about? I've been with you this whole time because you wanted it."
(Olfie speaking to Ran about her lack of any other friends. He has good intentions, but he's scared for her.)
LINE: "But that's not right! That's not good for you! You should make some other friends too. You shouldn't keep being by yourself like this."
(Olfie is upset and confused at Eggy, interrogating him)
LINES: "How can someone I've never even seen before show up all of a sudden and be so close to Ran? What does Ran mean to you?"
