Ted Grant is a former professional boxer. After a mix up in a criminal scheme made by his managers, Ted was arrested for killing the boxer he fought another boxer. While in jail his former managers put a hit on Ted to prevent the truth from being revealed. He later escaped and Ted was framed again for killing two guards. Ted created a persona based off Green Lantern and created big black cat costume. Ted emerged as Wildcat and made his former manager's confess. He was given the ability of nine lives from an amazonian queen and later joined the Justice Society of America. In the modern day he works as a boxing teacher and is retired from the Justice Society of America. He has been known to train quite a few of Gotham City's superheroes and a few villains as well.

Ted's alter ego is Wildcat. Ted is  grizzled old man who is tough and has trained many heroes . The voice for Ted/Wildcat should be a gravelly voice.
