RockinRosie for Oseiko
“The Black Widow” Oseiko has had a dark and tragic past, being the last of a clan of ninja mercenaries known as the Akuhi Ryu. Having lost everything escaping that clan, including the life of her beloved little sister Mikoto, she was given a new outlet from her great great grandfather, to become a professional wrestler. Unsure at first if it would work, she found herself in the squared circle, and twenty years later, she became a legend of the sport, having completely shed her past as a ninja and embraced the calling of a joshi.
For her voice, think Tara Strong, a la Ashi, from Samuai Jack. A slight Japanese accent, but very slight. Her English is 99.9% perfect. You can barely tell it’s her second language. She is usually very calm when she talks, she rarely raises her voice. She never swears, as she feels it’s a waste of breath; though as a ninja, if she were to disguise herself as someone and that someone would use profanities she would use them to best emulate that person’s personality. The world of professional wrestling can be a cutthroat business but it’s easy to see that it has not changed Oseiko in the slightest. She is definitely cut from a different cloth than any wrestler who has came before her, or perhaps after her.
Love is what motivates her ultimately… she wants to win to continue to build the shared Legacy she has with her daughter, Yuki Marie. She will never betray her friends, her family, or her many fans, cementing her Loyality, and she will never forget her beloved little sister, whom she believes is watching over her, her Memory absolute.
"I remember the butterflies in my stomach. Here I was...a former ninja, used to being in the shadows. Now....in front of a mass audience."
"I look at this ring and know...my daughter is destined to follow me."
"Life is too short to burn bridges. So I will never betray my friends. My family. My many fans. My legacy."
Hey there! Just listened to your audition! Can we talk more about it?
