Kasumi Aihara (Kuh-sue-me I-har-uh) is the Ultimate Nature Photographer, and this story's protagonist. At a very young age, she was adopted into a loving family, and her doting mothers supported all her budding interests. Spurred on by traveling journalist Mom, and encouraged from the sidelines from stay-at-home Mama, Kasumi's love of photography pushed onward and eventually gained her the prestige and status to attend Hope's Peak Academy.

Dislikes: Impatient people, unruliness, pollution/littering/general disrespect for the Earth
(Surprised) "Me? Oh! Kasumi Aihara. Ultimate Nature Photographer. It's nice to meet you. I sincerely hope we can get along!"
