Me, My Demon, and I
Mighty Lovelock for Johnny
Johnny isn't the brightest of guys. He has a dead end job, he never gets promoted, and now he's been possessed by a Demon. There will be a lot of slapstick humor but also a range of emotion that we'll explore with Johnny.
I'm hung over, I feel like crap, I think this is some stupid dream, and I haven't woken up yet.
Seriously, what are you- [slapping noise] WHAT WAS THAT?! WHY DID I SLAP MYSELF?!
Yeah, I mean, my life isn't that great. I've got a shit apartment that's been robbed twice this year, I haven't had a girlfriend in years, and I don't make the best choices anyway. So, let's do this.
Hey! I like your audition and think your voice is really great. I just wanted to let you know that you peaked pretty badly throughout (peaking is when you get louder than the mic can pick up so it has to kind of guess what should go there and it sounds pretty bad) There's no way to fix peaking once it has happened since all the data is not there but you can recognize it by looking at the audiowave. If any part of it looks like a box/has flat edges at the top or bottom, that means you peaked. A way to prevent it is to either turn down your gains (make the microphone less sensitive to sound) or back away from the mic a touch. Because you peaked so much, I think you're probably having an issue with gains. I hope this completely unsolicited advice helps. Good luck in your voice acting endeavors.
Thanks for the advice.
