Any chance you can sing up an octave? The voice for the male duet is higher pitched. I was surprised to hear that your singing sounds like me though! Perhaps I have a distant clone? Regardless of such, if you can’t sing higher for the audition, then I’ll see if I can put you somewhere else. Even if I don’t, I have faith in you and everyone else who has auditioned for a role and trust that they will go far!
I'm flattered to hear back and I'd be happy to raise the key signature, an entire octave would put me firmly in an alto or soprano voice. I know that there is a key change near the end which does raise the pitch, maybe that's what you mean? Either way I will submit a new, higher audition for you tomorrow!
