Fierce Deity is the form Link becomes after putting on the corresponding mask. In this state, Link becomes almost godly, with unmatched dark powers. Some say that if the mask is used for too long, it may correct the wearer, filling them with darkness.  Others say that it is the only way to defeat enemies like Majora, that are too powerful for mortals to defeat.  Either way, it is one of the most powerful weapons in the univers.
