Margret Price is the main character. She is on her way from the New England Area going to Oregon with her brother Julius, his family and an additional family to boot. She tends to be self centered, but does care about her brother deeply... Also her horse Geoffrey.

She tends to be on the lazier side of things. She doesn't help the wagon party too much but will help her brother if he asks. 

  • Daddy might disagree... but Daddy ain't here lets do it.

  • Jules, listen... that... sounds like the dumbest thing I've ever heard you come up with, and that includes taking me on this trip.
