According to what I'm seeing on my spectral analysis app, Sans appears to be... um... w-well... he appears to have weaponized his imagination against the invading spirit.
This is one of the best Alphys audio clips I've heard in a while! You give that nervous, nerdy vibe to her voice perfectly! :D
