Buddy is an ex-cop from before the war. Or rather he was Ex-Swat. Even still, he still wears the gear from before the war, as he now works as a bodyguard for a ghoul known as Jameson, a local town leader who may be involved in some shady business practices. Buddy guards the town graveyard. Or rather, the part of town where feral ghouls are kept once they turn. Usually, the graveyard contains loved ones, and this is the case for buddy, as his wife is locked up in there.

 Buddy is a depressed, nihilistic old man, but still a really good shot with a rifle. An expert marksman. Just don't expect him to be happy about it. He also seems to be very sick, often coughing, and reveals that he was once shot near the lungs and barely survived thanks to some pre-war doctor. He doesn't remember his name.
