Helmeppo starts out in the series as the bratty son of the tyrannical Captain Morgan, and he gets anything he wants and gets his way, even though his dad really couldn't care less about him. Later on in the series, we find out there is more depth in his character as he grows and trains in the navy alongside Coby, but for now he's simply a whiny bitch who's "daddy" is the scariest thing about him. He is manipulative and cruel.

  • *snickering* You there, little girl! Can't you read? Anyone seen helping or aiding a criminal is punishable by DEATH! Lieutenant, throw her over the wall. 

  • *making a deal, a snide tone in his voice* Tell you what, I'll make you a deal. If you can last tied out in the yard for 30 days--1 whole month--without food or water, then I'll let you, the mom and this little girl off for free!

  • *utterly terrified* I-I can't believe you actually hit me!! *wailing* I'm gonna get my daddy, and he's g-gonna beat you up!! Daaaaaddyyyyyyyyy!!!
