Fusion occurs when two or more Gems merge their physical forms into a single new being bearing the multiple Gems of the fusers. Unless the fusers are identical, this new being, their Fusion, will be someone entirely new, with their own color, personality, and powers. A Fusion is more than just a mash-up of the fusers; a Fusion is also a manifestation of the fusers' influence on each other. For example: Ruby is hot. Sapphire is cool. I am electric.
