Emma Dragneel is the first daughter of the Dragneel/Heartfilla bloodline. Emma is one of the few who were taught by someone who was trained by a dragon, being a sixth generation Fire dragon slayer. Unlike most of her siblings who may have a "good" childhood Emma wasn't one of the lucky ones. She was kidnapped and wasn't brought back to her family until she was in her late teens. Now back at the guild Emma is known for first,her modeling roles in sorcerer weekly and second, being bossy,conceited(at times),and hot headed mostly,but she is a little insecure. Yes,she can be egoistical and self-centered, but like everyone in Fairy Tail she cares deeply for her family,friends,and Fairy tail! A quote that she stands by is "I don't care if you knock me down as many times as you want. I'll get up and kick your ass!"
