King Ziar is the King of Ithersta. He helps Fran in Chapter 3 when she turns into a tree. He is wise and understands the world and other realities. He is kind and helps Fran with her problem in the second reality.

  • "Welcome, creature. My name is Ziar. Do you speak human?"

  • "My good friend Ryde told me that you showed him an illustration... with four humans and a cat. I assume you are one of them? The little girl? Please forgive my good friend if he scared you. We have never seen a human looking like a tree before..."

  • [[Reading something aloud]] "Hm... Let me see... You are good! No doubt about that... A seeker of the truth! Very common in the Bow family tree. Ah! Your name is Fran! You are the girl with the passion for life."
