Ara is Daniel's parrot! I'm guessing it's a female due to how *she* is drawn and she is also seen to get jealous really easily when Daniel tends to the foster dogs!
I'm actually thinking of getting the actor for Daniel to voice for her since she'll be mimicking Daniel's voice and it's natural to assume the parrot is able to sound very much like her owner!

**If you're auditioning for Daniel and you're going for Ara,  try to make it parrot-like, or at least change the pitch/voice a little?**

But feel free to audition for Ara if you'd like to bring this cute lovable bird to life!
