Josephine only appears in the comic for 2 episodes. When she is first introduced, she is walking her dog, Bijou. Josephine then gets hit by a car, and is visited by a Reaper (Leo.) At first, Josephine is in denial that she is dead, and starts tricking herself into believing that everything is just a sick joke. Near to the end, she begs Leo to let her live, but only because she wishes to take care of her dog. Josephine is a kind-hearted soul, and when she finally accepts that it is her time, she asks Leo to take care of her dog. Bijou is her everything.
