Gil is very kind and caring towards others. He is also very educated, having been raised in a TITAN private school. His kind nature tends to make him very naive and credulous. Gil decided to become a doctor, so that he can help others, the followers and TITAN's cause for saving him when he was a child. He now sees TITAN as a religious figure.
The author has also confirmed that Gil is gay, which may play a part in further episodes.
I imagine his voice to be soft (not too soft that you can't hear it) and gentle, and at a medium register, sort of leaning towards the higher side, but still sounding like a 19 y/o guy. His voice should sound like the typical sweetheart's.
Feel free to interpret his voice however you want.

Line 3 (sees that Ava is awake) You're awake! I'm so glad! I hope you weren't listening to me talk to myself for too long. Hang on, I have something for you. I was wondering if you'd be okay. You looked like you were having a tough recovery.
(Note: He was actually talking to Nevy, but he knows that no one else can see her, so he just calls it talking to "himself")
Line 4 (when Ava throws up lava; terrified) Goodness gracious!! {Ava: Could you tell me where the bathroom is?} Uh, yes, the bathroom. It's in the kitchen, but- {Ava: *runs off*} Wh- Hey wait!! You'll hurt yourself! (calling out into the kitchen) There's ice in the freezer!! (mutters) Just so you know....
