Thank you so much for checking out this little project and considering auditioning for the roles ahead. Please note that this casting is for the first season in a series of 4, so the characters available to audition for will expand in the future. If you want to be in the loop when future auditions are made available, simply make sure to follow the project as I will provide updates when available.

In case you all are wondering beforehand though, yes, I have gotten permission from the original animator and have squared that away. If you have any questions regarding the project, please note that I have explicitly forbid myself from most spoilers, so what information that I do have and that is provided, while spoiler free for myself and others, is limited. I can only answer questions pertaining to the fan voice over, not the actual series. Guy Collins has a channel for that for people to haras- I mean ask him about the official silent film series that he is animating. Again. I OWN NO RIGHTS TO RBZ. ALL RIGHTS AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTIES TO THE ORIGINAL SERIES BELONGS TO THEIR RESPECTIVE ORIGINAL OWNERS. Understood? Cool.
So what is "Raised By Zombies"?:
"Raised By Zombies" is an animated series animated by Guy J Collins following a little girl as she grows, matures and survives throughout a zombie apocalypse. The provided video at the top contains all episodes in Season 1 for further context. As the girl grows older, she experiences what any little orphaned girl would experience during a dark time for humanity. According to an interview with Guy Collins, "the girl has grown up in this world, so to her it’s normal, and it makes sense that she would be happy sometimes! People find happiness where they are." There is a heavy emphasis on family as well, especially when the girl eventually reunites with her mother when she is older, as seen in Episode 5 "Discovery", where she finds her mom still existing (and alive?) as a zombie!
What is the project for?:
This project aims to enhance the experience with by representing the series with a full cast of voices and new SFXs to make the viewing experience more immersive (hopefully) and to give old and new viewers an opportunity to watch a new perspective on the series while waiting for more episodes come out. As far as brainstorming how the dub has worked with Guy Collins, we've had a lot of fun planning out how to tackle this new take, especially with addressing some unique issues that have come up with providing a dub for a film that was originally planned to be completely silent.
Is there a deadline?:
The deadline to apply for the preliminary casting is March 31st by 11:59PM EST. If more characters are needed or there are ties, I will inform the candidates of the new deadline, as well as give them new lines to finalize their auditions.
What is the format for auditions?:
Please use the following formats when naming your audition files for casting. It will make everyone's jobs MUCH easier:
[NAME]_[CHARACTER]
Please also do 2-3 takes for each line when you record. This helps us determine if you have good vocal inflection, which is VITAL to making this project look and sound good!

Father of the Girl and spouse of the Mom in the series. He has a strong resolve about him and would do anything to keep his family safe. He eventually dies and becomes a zombie, so knowing how to do a zombie voice is a MUST!
[A horde of zombies has been alerted towards him and his family. Taking a step back, he makes an attempt to keep his wife and child safe while pointing towards a specific direction to lead them to safety as he prepares to stall and fight them with a baseball bat in hand]
"Run!"[He swings a baseball bat repeatedly into a zombie before taking a swing into another zombie with force]
"(Grunting)"[Do your best zombie impression!]
"(Zombie moan)"
The commander of a ship with some of the last known human survivors. He has a son and wife, the wife of which he is determined to find a cure to revert her from having become a zombie. He is authoritative and stubborn, which doesn't help his acts of desperation when he makes rash and sometimes impulsive decisions without listening much to reason.
[He is standing on the main deck of his ship when his crew comes under attack. He gives the command to shoot when he sees that they are having a hard time responding to the siege]
"Shoot them!"[He goes into a holding cell on his ship where we see his wife has become a zombie and has been tied up for her and the rest of the crew's safety. Taking a vial of blood, he attempts to run an experiment by injecting her arm with the sample from a special type of zombie that shows absolutely no traits of aggression, hoping that it will be a step in the right direction to finding a cure. His hopes are immediately crushed as the wife shows no signs of change as she continues to growl at him]
"(disheartened sigh)"[He is directing some members of his crew on the plan to tackle the zombie apocalypse that has plagued Perth, pointing with authority to a specific location]
"It's settled. We strike here."
The son of the commander. He assists in helping survivors out of the city while supporting his father. He does not always agree with his father's actions and behavior, despite the fact that he suffers from the lack of support he used to have from his parents before his mom turned zombie and the apocalypse began.
[He stands before a feral girl, who is aiming a gun at him, before turning and defending himself by taking aim in return, not realizing the girl's age. Upon realization, he lowers his guard and tries to approach her in a more friendly manner before she flees the scene. He gives chase to follow after the girl in a non-threatening manner]
"Hey!"[He approaches his father, the commander, in order to stop him from setting a timer to release a missile that will strike the city. He knows that there is a girl surviving there that will be in danger if the missile strike lands. He talks towards him in a desperate pleading tone]
"Dad, please, wait."
They're monkeys, what more can I say? They're chaotic and rambunctious, but they do it all in good fun!
[It steals a gun from the girl that she was using for protection before moving to take the gun and hit it against a tree as it works out how the gun works]
"(monkey sounds)"[OPTIONAL]
"(more monkey sounds other than the one listed above)"
Your typical news reporter trying to survive in a zombie apocalypse. He obviously doesn't want to be there, but who else will be there reporting?
[Images and footage are shown on a TV as the reporter narrates, an air of despair and fear in his tone as he is soon shown to be reading from his notes.]
"Wildfires continue to spread across Perth. All hope is lost."[The news reporter is shown to be on TV as a zombie approaches him and viciously attacks, earning a horrified scream]
"(scream)"
