Michael Kim is a Korean-American filmmaker, aspiring to work in television as a producer and writer. Michael grew up in California, and drew interest in visual storytelling at a young age. He has competed in film festivals regularly for over 10 years, and recently received the top prize for the “Spark Your Soul” film competition hosted by Pixar (2019) as well as the “Growing up asian in America” Film contest hosted by NBC (2021). He has also interned as a broadcast production supervisor for Midpen Media, Comcast, and PBS. In his free time, Michael is an avid voice-actor, appearing in many start-up animated pilots, radio advertisements, and student short films.
