Seasoned author Brett Davis needed a voice to tell the story of Johnny Nicholas, a Tuskegee Airman, focusing on his formative years in Alabama and Detroit, his experiences overseas during World War II, his survival of a German concentration camp and his life that followed.
This was a challenging work to record, requiring an array of international accents, including French, German, as well as accents specific to areas of the U.S., such as Detroit, Texas and Alabama.
My audition was accepted and I recorded the novel, now available on numerous audiobook sites.
